Just like Venice

We are trying to stay busy as we count down the days until we pick up Maggie and make a trip to Chicago! (9 days) We went out for dinner in Stillwater, MN and walked along the St. Croix river looking at boats. The pictures are all taken on the MN side of the St. Croix looking across to Wisconsin. Just a couple weeks ago this whole area was underwater!

The lift bridge goes up for a paddle boat to come through!

My kids screaming hello to the gondola - so romantic!

Who doesn't love a blossoming tree?

Maggie is not home from camp, I just found these pics.

Grandma Memo... Don't look!

She's got the purple pride!

Sunday Morning

Every Sunday at camp starts with a lazy breakfast and then services under the Service Tree. It centers around values, rather than one particular religion. Barbara leads the services with the help of a cabin each week. This week M-6 helped out...

Who could say no to Piper?

I should have maybe intervened earlier... At the end she says something about eating the eyeball. Please note the trophies next to Seamus :O)

Baseball and Cookies

Last night was the Championship Game for the 8 and 9 year old Little League in New Richmond, perhaps you caught this on your local news? Seamus is on the Twins and they were not favored to win, frankly a blow out was expected. I won't leave you hanging, they did lose, but it was a really fun game! Seamus pitched an inning and no one scored against him. They went in to the last inning up by one, but ended up losing by one. They played under the lights and so many people were there, almost everyone was pulling for the Twins. The loss was softened with trophies and cookies. It was a fun season, but as Tim says "Now there is more time to golf!"

A Busy Day!

All reports from camp are fantastic! Here is a part of one of the FOUR letters we have gotten...

Dear Dad, I went around the lake on skiis! and I got up on my first try! I fell once but it got really choppy and I just got right back up! Everyone was cheering "Yeah Maggie!"...
